Traffic Exchanges...what are they? How do they work? Are they for me?

Traffic Exchanges allow you to place your page in a rotation with other pages. You surf the exchange, viewing other member sites and "earn" traffic to your site.

Surf4theEarth is the first traffic exchange I joined and the one in which I am most active. I like it because you can donate a part of your "earnings" to various charities. Also, it is one of the exchanges on which you are likely to see more personal and "end-user business sites" i/o "money-making" sites.
